Random Musings from Salmon Arm

Most of my pictures from our week in Salmon Arm are pretty random.  Here are my favorite pictures from the week.  Some of my favorites are some that I didn't even take.

Me and Ellyana playing games.

I don't know what to say about this one except, doesn't everyone wear a deflated inner-tube and much too big crocks with their Christmas jammies.

Helping take the decorations off the tree,

Taking care of Elly like pro.

Grandma and Nathanael.  I love how the head phones squish his cheeks so it looks like he has the mumps.

Me and Andrew

Making pizza with Grandma.

Andrew looking at his menu while out on our date.  I was super sad that the Shuswap Pie Company was closed the entire time we were in Salmon Arm, but we still had a great date (alone).

Mommy and Elly.

Painting snow,

He has a bun in his lunch bag.  I think he must be off to work,

Making biscuits nearly naked.

Grandma had a snowman kit.  Unfortunately the snow was not ideal for making snowmen.  Nathanael dressed up as a snowman.

My girls.

Hehehe The shear number of blankets, colors, and patterns in this picture make me laugh.

This is basically how Ethan spent the week.
He played board game after board game with whomever would sit and play.

Some privacy please.

Grandpa, Grandma, and the grandkids.

Christmas Day in Salmon Arm

We just got back from spending a week with Andrew's parents in Salmon Arm.  We had a great time.  I'm not going to lie though having a 2 week old baby makes for an incredibly tiring week regardless of where you happen to be.  That said it was FANTASTIC to have 4 extra hands.  Hannah, Ethan, and Nathanael had so much fun.  I took a lot of pictures and here is how we spent our "Christmas Day".  The kids were thrilled to have another Christmas day.

Me and my brown eyed boy.

Christmas Pj's in front of the tree,

My babies.

Opening presents.  Nathanael helps everyone.

Helping Grandma and Grandpa.

This beautiful painting was for Ellyana and is super cute.  It's already hanging up.  It was painted by Kristen.  I don't know if she knows it or not but Giraffes are my favorite.

Hannah collected up all the bows.

Rough life for a 5 year old boy.  Needs a rest.

After opening presents we spent the day relaxing,
Andrew and Ellyana enjoying a good cuddle and a good book.

Hannah playing with the stacking pegs.

Hard at work.

Ethan playing a game with Grandpa.

Grandma and Nathanael.

Our day was capped off with a very delicious turkey dinner.

Christmas Day

Here is quick photo blast from Christmas yesterday.  We had a fantastic day and enjoyed spending it with each other and family.  It was especially wonderful to have Ellyana with us even if she did sleep through most of it.

Christmas Morning

Opening stockings.  Man they just don't stop moving when they are excited.

Hannah got her Christmas wish to feed Elly all by herself. :D

The girls in their matching dresses.  Oh how I love it. I have been waiting 6.5 years.

Later in the day we went to my parents house for dinner.  Here are all the grandkids.

Love their matching clothes.

Charlotte and Ben just don't listen to Aunty very well.  :D

Papa and Elly.

hehehehe

Watching Gama and Papa opening their presents.

Auntie Amanda and Uncle Chris with Elly.

Watching a Christmas movie together. :D

Our Christmas feast.  So delicious.

Nathanael was so excited during dinner that his just came off.
